Makeup Tricks that Make You Look Younger

Blush
As we age, our faces tend to lose color leading to a washed out complexion. If you’ve always stuck with bronzer, now might be the time to try a cream blush on the apples of the cheeks for a dewy glow.
Ease Up On The Foundation
Caked on foundation brings attention to wrinkles because the product tends to settle into fine lines. Instead, try a light tinted moisturizer. If you must go with full coverage foundation, make sure to apply a moisturizer beforehand, or better yet, blend the foundation with it to moisturize and cover in one.
Use A Cream Concealer Under The Eyes
Our eyes are where most fine lines start to form, and powder concealers can make the eyes look smaller and wrinkles more prominent. Instead, use a richly pigmented cream concealer.
Upgrade
Drugstore concealers and foundations just wont cut it anymore. Products that do not cater to a more mature audience often are not made to gloss over fine lines and wrinkles, making them look more prominent.
Try Nude
Notice your lips getting thinner? Instead of sticking with dark shades of lipstick, try a nude gloss. Glosses bring attention to the lips and create the illusion of fullness.
Lighten Up On The Liner
Instead of black liner around the entire eye, try something softer like gold for the top and a nude liner on the bottom, which makes the eyes look open and bright.
Relax On The Lower Lashes
Mascara on the lower lashes can make eyes look droopy, concentrate on the upper lash instead.
Put Down The Tweezers
Eyebrows fade with age, which is why you should stop plucking them before it’s too late. Fuller brows make most faces look more youthful. If you’re not blessed with full brows, try using a brow pencil in a natural color in order to create the illusion of fullness.
